Hot on the heels of the recent summer news, about my arrangement of the Tune-Yards’ “Waterfountain” being signed to Eugene Rogers’ choral series, comes this new bit of exciting news: my work Perseus has now been signed to Andrea Ramsey’s choral series, via Hal Leonard.

Thank you to Scott Leithead and Kokopelli Choirs for commissioning the work many years back and to all those wonderful choirs and directors who have enjoyed the work since then. I remain very grateful for your love and support!

I'm delighted to let you know my arrangement of "Water Fountain", by the Tune Yards, is now officially available for purchase as part of Eugene Rogers' choral series published by Mark Foster, distributed by Hal Leonard.

Thank you to Carrie Tennant, the Coastal Sound Youth Choir (for whom the work was arranged), the Vancouver Youth Choir and all of you so very much for all of your kind words, support and spectacular performances of the arrangement. It has meant the absolute world to me these past few months and I am very grateful to have such interest in my work.

Goodbye...

This is my third and final season as composer-in-residence and tenth and final  season as a singer with these fine people (above).

Ten seasons. Six world premieres. Several CBC Broadcasts. Two Healey-Willan Grand Prize awards. One entire a capella album of my work. I could not have dreamt for a deeper, more meaningful residency as an artist.

I've thrown everything (musically speaking) at this great bunch of musicians and they've always embraced each work of mine with zeal and humility. To find this many people in one ensemble who care so much about making new music is a rare and precious thing. I will never forget their kindness and generosity.

Thank you Vancouver Cantata Singers!
